The book was published with a photo, so I did not know he was gardening, not flowers. The book seemed a bit faded. Rating: 2 / 5
Book came quickly for the Christmas season, even by media mail. Excellent condition. Book itself has the photos that seem outdated - just a little feeling for him in 1980. Rating: 5 / 5
Product came in very good condition. It’s worth the money. Ledger, in terms of gardening - you learn a lot. My husband and I have to share what we both enjoy the many things you can do to a garden of good harvest. Rating: 5 / 5
I had the luxury of reviewing this book before I bought one of my friends. In fact, she had used for years and lent it to me When I planted my first container of tomatoes and peppers. The information was simple and the photos are very good and useful. I am a novice gardener and my friend is a veteran and we both love. The book lists not only vegetables and how, when and where to plant, but also gives the authors outline of this plant to give. Also, the “types” of the gardens on the basis of why they are planting. If the storage facility, to eat right away, etc. It also offers guidelines for creating a storage warehouse. Also provided information on composting, soil structure, green manure crops, etc. The author is very experienced and offer a lot of understanding. I am at least four or provide gardening books and I found myself wanting to refer to the book by my friend, so I finally went online to buy the book. This is definitely my go-to reference book for gardening. Rating: 5 / 5
I found this book in my grandmother’s shelf, alongside a few gardening books. A few minutes after delivering all of them, I realized that was the only book that I would need! I used the techniques in this book a few summers and had the best harvest all summer! Rating: 5 / 5
